LOCOMOTIVE DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM
Locomotive Diagnostic Tool was developed for trouble shooting and online diagnosis of the 6000 HP modern three phase locomotives with GTO traction Convertor. The diagnostic tool becomes a network node on the MVB and all the vehicle processors can be accessed.
WINDOWS BASED LOCOMOTIVE DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM (WLDS)
Subsequently DOS based Locomotive Diagnostic System has been further upgraded to Windows based Diagnostic System[WLDS]. It consists of a Gateway providing MVB to Ethernet interface. Any Windows (version 7 onwards)based can be connected to this Gateway to access the locomotive computers.Windows based Diagnostic system which is suitable for 3-phase locomotive and does not need any upgradation or modification of the locomotive firmware or application software. This is the unique feature and is very safe as the existing proven software itself will be working in the locomotive.
